Since a while we have made available the URL shortener service http://links.ceva.com/.
It is a way to shorten a long URL into a smaller you can eventually memorize. For instance, I've created http://links.ceva.com/ftricot that redirect to https://sites.google.com/a/ceva.com/francois-tricot, and several others.
You can yourself create such a link for any pages, a Google Doc with a very long meaningless URL, or any web page on the net. Just go to http://links.ceva.com, paste your URL, give a name, save and share it.
I discovered recently that you can then complete the path and it work. For instance http://links.ceva.com/ftricot/blog redirects to https://sites.google.com/a/ceva.com/francois-tricot/blog.
