June 1st : Set-up a simple watch with CevApps Alerts

CevApps recently got plenty of new services that work with your CevApps account. You may not need it right now, or you could find it useful in your job.
I will regularly present one of these new services.

CevApps Alerts (in fact Google Alerts with your CevApps account) is one of these new services.

With CevApps Alerts, you can monitor the Web for interesting new content

CevApps Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic.

Enter the topic you wish to monitor, then click preview to see the type of results you'll receive. Some handy uses of CevApps Alerts include:
  • monitoring a developing news story 
  • keeping current on a competitor or industry 
  • getting the latest on your products

I personally use filters in Gmail in order to automatically categorize emails from "Google Alerts" to the label "Bulk"
